The Gippsland Community Foundation, in partnership with Fire to Flourish (F2F), offers a Rapid Response Grant to provide swift financial assistance to individuals and community groups impacted by natural disasters where it is a declared emergency. This grant is available to the areas covered by F2F which is east of Orbost through to Genoa. This non-competitive grant offers up to $3,000 per dwelling to help restore essential equipment, structures, or services damaged by events such as bushfires and floods.

Applicants are required to submit a brief description of the impact, supporting evidence (such as photos), and an estimate for restoration costs. This application will begin by contacting the local member of the F2F team. The grant will be available for 8 weeks following a declared emergency, ensuring that communities can quickly access the modest funds needed to overcome the immediate challenges posed by disaster.
