Generous Gippsland Future Fund set to open first grant round!

A fund designed to support community-led projects across the region, the Generous Gippsland Future Fund was created to provide a Gippsland based annual grant program available for local not-for-profit community groups, where projects are identified, developed and led locally within their community.

We are delighted to reveal that in December, the first ever Generous Gippsland Community Grants will launch at the Gippsland Community Foundation AGM in Traralgon, offering grants of up to $5,000 to community-led projects across all six Gippsland local government areas.

This first round is an opportunity for community groups to turn an idea into action, whether that means creating something new, responding to a local need or strengthening outcomes for projects already making a difference in their community.

At the launch, following our AGM, we’ll step through who can apply, what Generous Gippsland can support and how the application process works.

GCF Board of Directors will be on hand to hear about your project plans and talk more about how Generous Gippsland is designed to support community-led change over the long term. It will also be an opportunity to meet the GCF team and ask questions about the grant round.

Generous Gippsland grants are intended for community-led not-for-profit groups based in Gippsland. The grants are not available to agencies or fundraising bodies based outside the region, or to projects for the benefit of individuals or businesses.

Applications will open following the launch, with eligibility guidelines and the application link available after the event through the Gippsland Community Foundation website.

To join us in Traralgon on 7 December and be part of the launch of Generous Gippsland’s first grant round, stay connected with our social media channels and look to November's e-news update for registration.
