GIPPSLAND COMMUNITY FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH GIPPSLAND EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND TO DELIVER THE RESILIENCE PILOT PROJECT ACROSS GIPPSLAND
The Gippsland Community Foundation (GCF) is pleased to announce funding of $18,500 towards the Resilience Pilot Project across Gippsland. The project is being led by Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund in partnership with the Resilient Building Council (RBC).
The project delivers free community workshops for individuals to learn how to strengthen their homes and dwellings against natural disasters. The workshops will be held across Gippsland to guide homeowners through RBC’s easy to use bushfire resilience assessment app.
GCF has fully funded the East Gippsland workshops utilising donations into the Victorian Bushfire Appeal as a result of the Black Summer Fires of 2019/2020. A contribution towards workshops across the remaining Gippsland footprint has also been made by GCF.
