The Gardiner Foundation and Gippsland Community Foundation are proud to partner to support the community across Gippsland deliver benefits to  individuals, families and community groups operating in the dairy sector across Gippsland.
Approximately 1,022 dairy farm businesses operate in Gippsland with significant concentration around the South Gippsland, Wellington & Baw Baw region.

In 2025, the Gardiner-funded community development grants for Gippsland will be administered by the Gippsland Community Foundation.  The geographic region earmarked for fund distribution is aligned to areas of notable dairy activity, such as Wellington, South Gippsland and Baw Baw Shires.  The grants will be made for locally-led initiatives that strengthen the social fabric and connectivity of Victoria’s dairying communities.  Grants between $5,000-$10,000 are available for:

• Events & workshops

• Equipment

• Project or service delivery

• Operational or core costs

• Training & education
